Gabriel CarnickÂ
Director & Cinematographer
Art Can Change the World.
Thanks for visiting the official website of Gabriel Carnick, an award winning film Director and Cinematographer. Gabriel is a queer filmmaker, and has been making films for over a decade. She loves social justice films, queer stories, and films that center around the less told stories of women and members of the global majority (POC) community through both narrative and documentary, and believes that art, at it's best, can help inspire real change in the world. Check out her work and contact her for project inquiries.
Her fourth feature film, Before We Begin, was just released on Amazon, and her last three short films are in their festival run, Belly Belly going to 10+ Academy Award Qualifying film festivals, and Simp, also scoring one Academy Award Quality Festival. She is currently in pre-production on multiple projects, including Directing two short films, doing prep work for her first feature as Director, Raise Hell, and prepping her fifth feature as Cinematographer, Adverse Effects.
Gabriel works on multiple fronts, including Narrative Features, Shorts, Documentaries, Commercials, TV, and Music Videos.
From Los Angeles, now based in Ohio, but available to work in LA, NYC, Boston, New Orleans, and elsewhere. Happy to travel.
