Thanks for visiting the official website of Gabriel Carnick, an award winning film Director and Cinematographer. Gabriel is an award winning, queer filmmaker, and has been making films for over a decade. She loves social justice films, queer stories, and films that center around the less told stories of women and members of the global majority (POC) community through both narrative and documentary, and believes that art, at it's best, can help inspire real change in the world. Her fourth feature film, Before We Begin, is currently in post-production, and she is currently in pre-production on multiple projects, including Directing two short films, doing prep work for her first feature as Director, VLOG, prepping her fifth feature as Cinematographer, Adverse Effects, and writing her second feature film script An Examination of Violence.
Gabriel works on multiple fronts, including Narrative Features, Shorts, Documentaries, Commercials, TV, and Music Videos.
Based in Los Angeles, but available to work in NYC, Boston, New Orleans, and elsewhere. Happy to travel.
